Operational Roles

Given the diverse experiences, skills, roles and backgrounds of our principals, we often serve in interim or longer term operational roles for our partners.

Examples of Operational Roles:

Business Development: Once significant corporate and commercial transactions are identified, we can negotiate and close the transaction. This includes mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and other major transactions.

Manufacturing: Strategic issues related to manufacturing, including restructuring, strategic acquisitions and dispositions, foreign outsourcing or location of manufacturing.

Sales: Sales strategy, structure, management, execution and product distribution.

Pricing: Business and pricing models for new and existing products and services.

Operations: Implementing “best practices” for identified areas or for the entire operations of our business partners.

International Strategic Planning: We have significant experience in managing international operations and in closing transactions in a number of key foreign markets. We have dealt with the unique challenges of cultural, language, business practices, ethics, legal and other considerations. Our international sourcing group can assist many companies in addressing the challenges of foreign competition in the North American market.

Economic Incentive Development: Identifying and securing available economic incentives including those related to the location and expansion of businesses. In some instances, we may be able to work with the appropriate governmental officials and employees and help create the incentive program.

Intellectual Asset Management: Intellectual property strategy, prosecution, management and exploitation and risk management.
